Patrick Swayze is in a battle for his life, but it looks like the battle for his show, �The Beast,� is over. It looked like A&E has canceled the cop drama.
Although the network claims no official decision has been made, sources told Variety that the show has been scrapped after 13 episodes. The final show aired April 23.
Swayze has other things on his mind than his career at the moment. The 56-year-old is fighting pancreatic cancer and rumors have circulated for months that he�s at death�s door. Last month, his rep denied a Florida radio station�s report he had died. But there�s no word of a possible replacement for Swayze, just an end to the season.
As much as I�m sure Swayze would like to continue with the show, maybe his health should be the focus for now.Source: celebutopia.net
